Target group
The Flange Fitter Basic course is designed for industrial employees who are responsible for opening and closing flange connections according to a fixed protocol. This is essential to ensure safety and accuracy in working environments such as the petrochemical industry and refineries.

Learning objective
Participants learn to open and close flange connections safely and responsibly, with emphasis on applying the correct tightening torque according to established protocols.
Theory
- Basic concepts of flange connections.
- Overview of relevant legislation.
- General and specific safety rules.
- Technical knowledge of flanges, bolts, gaskets, and assembly materials.
- Use of tools and measuring instruments for flange work.
Practical training
- Safety rules and preparation for flange work.
- Correct working posture, use of equipment, disassembly, cleaning, alignment, and tightening of flanges.
- Inspection and finishing of the performed work.
Entry requirements
Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Certificate
The Flange Fitter Basic certificate is registered in the ELCONY diploma register.
