Working as an Outside Attendant with SOG

Target group

The SOG-recognised course Working as an Outside Attendant is intended for employees who work for clients where an officially recognised certificate is mandatory.

When is an Outside Attendant (SOG) mandatory?

  • When working in confined spaces in the (petro)chemical industry
  • During maintenance shutdowns and turnarounds
  • For clients working according to SSVV requirements
  • At locations with strictly regulated safety procedures

After passing the exam, the certificate is registered in the SSVV Diploma Register and is valid for 3 years.
